Review: Excursion to Brose company
On Friday, November 22nd 2024, an excursion to the Brose company in Coburg took place, organized by the Student Service Center WW and carried out in English.
After a very friendly welcome, the students were shown around the factory. The focus was on the areas of assembly, materials lab and material development.
After the tour, there was a break for the physical well-being: the Brose company invited all participants to a tasty lunch.
The main scientific part of the excursion was taken over by Prof. Dr. Peter Weidinger. He led the students through a lecture and a mini-workshop on the topic of “Sustainable Materials”.
At the end of the excursion, each participant received a small farewell gift.
All in all it was a very successful event.
The SSC WW offers excursions to various companies in the surrounding area at irregular intervals, the next one on December 6th to the company UVEX.
