Electronic Test
In order to be admitted to the admission interview applicants with a subject-related degree have to pass an electronic test.
Applicants must register for the electronic test themselves.
The link for the registration will be published about two weeks before the next test! The registration will be closed a week before a test.
The link for the registration for the winter intake will be published from end of March during the application period for the winter intake in this space!

Don’t forget to fill in your application number from campo, when registering for the test!
If applicants are not eligible, the registration will be removed.
Cheating or any attempt at cheating during the electronic test leads to disqualification.
Oral Entrance Examination
In the oral entrance examination, applicants are assessed on the basis of the following criteria and weightings:
- Basic knowledge of materials science, condensed matter physics and chemistry (especially atomic structure, thermodynamic, optical, electronic and magnetic properties of materials, and characterization methods) (50 percent) and
- good knowledge in the fields of nanotechnology, e.g. chemical material processing or nano characterization methods (50 percent).
The choice of core subjects in the master’s program is independent of the choice in the entrance examination according to No. 2.
