Interview

In the oral entrance examination, applicants are assessed on the basis of the following criteria and weightings:

  1. Basic knowledge of materials science, condensed matter physics and chemistry (especially atomic structure, thermodynamic, optical, electronic and magnetic properties of materials, and characterization methods) (50 percent) and
  2. good knowledge in the fields of nanotechnology, e.g. chemical material processing or nano characterization methods (50 percent).

The choice of core subjects in the master’s program is independent of the choice in the entrance examination according to No. 2.
